5 channel drum/percussion synth
"ES" means "Electric percussion" or in Lettish "Electro Sitamaijs", "2" - the second instrument in series & "5"-five channels of sound formation. It resembles "Roland TR-808" outwardly, because it was made on the basis of that well-known Instrument. The instrument has a 24 bar sequencer and it can be programmed step by step.
There are also 16 programmed patterns (each of them has 24 steps). The user has the possibility to play patterns by the use of manual & automatic mode (when every next pattern goes after a previous one from 1 to 16).
The programmed patterns could be saved in memory of the instrument. There are 5 inputs for pads and 2 outputs (line, phones).
There is also the possibility to connect a start-stop pedal to it.

Unfortunately the element base left much to be desired and the instrument did not manage to stand a lot of tests. It contained five pads and a special drum pedal. However, "Es 2-5" played sound of bad quality and worked thoroughly bad. As a result it was shelved by the factory, that produced about 30 models of this instrument.
It has never been on sale in Russia. There is not much more technical info about the machine, but the mighty Hainbach made a pretty detailed video about it, so we were able to capture
some of the key characteristics of it. The device has 5 identical channels, just like the original with some additional features, like velocity sensitivity and panning per channel. On the right side of the device, you'll find a hidden menu with the factory presets and extra controls for "oscillator drift" and random panning - just to make it sound more analogue. 4 track casette multitrack simulator
Fortrek is inspired by the old, four track, cassette based multitrack recorders.
Nowadays, these machines are used by experimental artists, with cut and taped, "endless loop" cassettes to create drones, ambient textures and background noises.
With Fortrek, you can enjoy the creative benefits of this technique, without cutting tapes and recording / overdubbing loops.

click source
Click is a really simple "instrument" device - it produces click sounds - inspired by the modular world, where triggers are often used as audio sources.
The source could be a 1 sample long, full spectrum click or a 10 ms long, "analogue fashion" trigger sound.
These click sounds are processed through a simple, single control EQ or through a Bandpass filter.
Everything is under velocity control - you have plenty of room to experiment.
